What was the highlight of this past weekend?
My weekend ranked pretty high on the Awesome Weekend Scale and it's hard to pick just one highlight!
Friday, we had "Amish Craft Night" at Cindi's house, and when we'd grown tired of contructing child-level crafts, we sat in the living room and listed to really bad 80s and 90s music. We're talking Milli Vanilli and Barbie and the Rockers here. I'm actually proud to admit that I knew the words to the Barbie and the Rockers songs.
Saturday was chock full of action - spotting the Wienermobile at Lumberjack Days, watching a professional women's football game, oohing and aahing at fireworks over the Mississippi River, drinking Miller Lite at an Irish Pub, and capping out the night with dancing to bad techno remixes of Cher music at a gay dance club.
The pooch and I slept in on Sunday, before I took a trip to East Bumfuck, Wisconsin to watch Jenni jump out of a plane with a complete stranger strapped to her back. We grilled, drank, and laughed for a while before I headed back to my happy little suburb. I wasn't home for long, though, before I headed to the theater for Clerks 2, which did not disappoint at all.
So, yeah. There's your highlight!
